Candidate applications for Forum 2040 reopened
Brussels Airport reopens the applications for Forum 2040. Because several applications to participate in Forum 2040 arrived after the initial registration period ended, the airport operator wishes to give more people the opportunity to apply.
Forum 2040 aims to be a dialogue platform for all stakeholders involved in the future of the airport, including local residents, other citizens, civil society organisations and social-economic players.
Candidate applications for Forum 2040 were open from 17 November 2016 until 16 December 2016. However, the past few months, the airport continued to receive requests to still be given the opportunity to apply. That is why it was decided to reopen the applications to those who missed the initial application period. Candidates who already have made a valid application through the website, remain registered and do not have to undertake further action.
An independent jury will select a representative group from the candidates. Please note that the application form needs to be fully completed. The motivation field in particular will be crucial for the selection by the independent jury. Applying was possible until Tuesday 20 June at 6 pm.
We would also like to remind you that an information session will be held on Thursday 22 June from 6 pm to 9 pm for all candidates who applied to sit on Forum 2040.
